The project team worked with Kirirom Food Production Co., Ltd. to examine challenges including market access, international competition for dried fruits, branding, and accessing raw materials for processing.

Two SMART Projects took place with Makamithi Enterprises Ltd (farm input supply) and Dryland Seeds Ltd (regional seed company), both located in Machakos, Kenya.

The team worked with Lakeside Fish Farm to conduct research quantifying the domestic market for fresh fish and eggs to strengthen their business strategy.

The fourth year of the Swayimane project focused on water conservation methods to address severe drought challenges, collaborating with local government and nonprofits.

The team worked with JSP Pharmaceutical Factory to develop marketing strategies for four innovative new products and identify global market potential.

The team worked with The Essential Electronic Agriculture Library (TEEAL) to explore growth opportunities within Bangladesh’s education system.

The team worked with Jabon Kendal company to help expand their business, visiting tree plantations and nurseries.
