The Emerging Market Program has developed a broad research program are in the area of Food and Agricultural Economics. Specifically, EMP research has focused on three interrelated themes: (a) The African Seed Access Index, (b) Agribusiness in developing countries, and (c) Agricultural input and output markets in Africa. Over the past decade this research program has produced numerous outputs including 60 publications and more than 80 professional presentations.
